Introducing the mob...
I thought I'd take a moment to introduce some of my photography companions, as they are likely to appear frequently in this blog.
This photo was taken during our recent trip to Scotland at the small pebble beach at Fascadale. It's a shot I really like.
That's me on the right, looking slightly worse for wear, as usual.
Christine is there in the middle. She is an excellent cook, a great host, and genuinely good fun to be around. She shares a passion for photography with the rest of us and is incredibly enthusiastic.
My longest suffering best friend is Keith, seen here on the left. He has travelled with me many times through raging storms and glorious sunshine, and I would not be half the photographer (or person) I am if it weren't for him.
Unfortunately, someone had to be behind the camera for this shot, and on this occasion it was Steve. We have already shared many great experiences together, and he is a fabulous guy to spend time with. He is as fanatical about photography as the rest of us and is a strong element of our small but close team. I'll have to post a photo of Steve when he's not behind the camera!
So there you are - that's us! I'm sure you'll hear more from each and every one of us in the future.
To Keith, Christine and Steve - I thank you all from the bottom of my heart. I wouldn't be where I am if it weren't for you.

New Website coming soon...
After many tears, tantrums and a lot of late nights, my new website is nearing completion!
My old one, of course, is still available here for the time being: http://www.ianpercival.co.uk
The new site is a very exciting venture and means I can keep up to date with my latest photography exploits and show off my very latest images.
Stay tuned for details - it should be live within the next couple of weeks.

A New Era
Hi all, please allow me to introduce myself, as this is the first post of many, some serious and some drunken ramblings I am sure...!
My name is Ian, and I aim to share my exploits in landscape photography with you all.
I have been photographing the landscape around me for around 20 years or so now, and more recently have been taking it very seriously. Almost fanatically in fact!
The last few years have seen me photographing landscapes all over the country from the south coast of England to the north-west of Scotland, and I feel I am now in the best form of my life.
My aim is to build up a following of like-minded individuals who share the same passion.
In due course, I will introduce some of my travel companions who share the same interests, and are equally fanatical about photography. We share the same passions in life - good light, good food and good beer!
In the near future I have some trips planned to Norfolk, the North-East coast, and maybe Cornwall, in addition to my annual pilgrimage to Scotland (maybe even an extra trip or two this year).
Please stay tuned and broadcast to your friends!
